10 WWE Wrestlers Who Could Thrive In AEW

1. Finn Bálor

We'd pop if AEW promoted a show called 'No More Smiles' and poked fun at WWE's incessant need to have Finn Bálor act like a cheeky Irish chappy for the cameras. Alternatively, his first All Elite show could be named, 'A Princely Sum', because that's what it'd cost Finn to ditch the E and revert to his Prince Devitt days.

Sacrificing some cash might be worth it.

Bálor cannot be thrilled with his role in WWE these days. He's gone from first ever Universal Champion to a bit-part player, and some of the feuds booked for him have been flat out horrendous. Remember the comical guff of Bray Wyatt? How about the stinker that was Finn's never-ending rivalry with Baron Corbin?

There was a time when Devitt wrestling conjured up butterflies in one's stomach. His matches came with an excitable rumble of anticipation, but those days have been rubbished by seemingly-endless dirge on Raw. Even aged 37 and after a serious shoulder injury set him back, Bálor would instantly become one of AEW's leading lights.
