10 WWE Wrestlers Who Could Thrive In AEW

5. Cesaro

No, Sheamus isn't coming as part of this package; he's a WWE lifer in this writer's mind. Meanwhile, Cesaro was an independent darling before making his way to McMahon-ville, and he's often woefully under-utilised by an employer who has long-held the opinion he needs to grab mystical brass rings.

There'd be none of that hogwash in AEW.

Cody and The Bucks will surely push the best pure wrestlers at their disposal, and that'd be enticing for Cesaro. As solid as The Bar have been over the past few years (when they're allowed to shine by WWE creative anyway), the threat of a main event run in the promotion is slipping further and further away for the 'Swiss Superman'.

At 38, he's in his prime. Cesaro is a much, much better worker now than he was as Claudio Castagnoli before, and the competitive fires burning inside him have never been doused by WWE's decision to overlook him. In a perfect world, he'd be a marquee signing for All Elite.
