10 WWE Wrestlers Who Have Never Been WORSE Than Right Now

6. Aleister Black

In NXT, Aleister Black was a fascinating character. He didn't say much, but when he did it was (much like his offence) incredibly impactful. As a result, he picked up three NXT Year-End awards in 2017 including Male Competitor of the Year and Breakout Star of the Year.

All of this makes it so much more frustrating that WWE have bungled his main-roster transition, akin to many on this list. Initial signs were good; Black teamed with Ricochet to form a jaw-dropping tag team, and although they failed to win gold, they became established on TV, with fans eager to see how their singles careers would develop on either the red or blue brand.

Whereas Ricochet has continued his upward trajectory, Black's has completely stalled. Stop-start booking has meant that despite thrilling crowds in contests with the likes of Cesaro, his character has devolved from mysterious brooding ass-kicker to grumpy bloke who lives in a cupboard and talks !*$%.

If you want to pick a fight with anyone Aleister, it's the writers.
