10 WWE Wrestlers Who Should Ask For Their Release
1. Gallows & Anderson
There was so much expectation after the announcement that NJPW stars Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows had signed terms with WWE.
That expectation grew when we realised that Gallows wouldn't be reprising his role as Festus, and grew even further when, during their first few weeks in the company, we watched them rub shoulders with former Club running mate AJ Styles.
On paper, this had so much potential, but their split with the Phenomenal One after last year's draft resulted in their being lost in the Raw tag team shuffle. They became aimless, and worse still they lost the personality that made them so popular in Japan.
Incidentally, that's where we'd envisage them heading were they to cut ties with WWE. There's still so much for them to do in NJPW, with or without AJ Styles or Finn Bálor (who will in all likelihood not be joining them) directing traffic.
