Perhaps the most alarming WWE release this month was that of B-Fab from Hit Row. Many applauded the decision to upgrade the entertaining NXT stable to SmackDown during October’s draft, but almost as quickly as they jumped, the record label lost one of its brightest members.

The chemistry shared between Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, Ashante Adonis, B-Fab and Top Dolla is exquisite and were a perfect blend of athleticism, personality, and skill. In this sense, they are probably better suited to the main roster rather than NXT 2.0. Thus, culling B-Fab seemed puzzling. However, a positive which can be taken from the move is the increased focus the three remaining members should gain.

Right now, the guy in Hit Row with the brightest future is without a doubt Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott. The former NXT North American Champion has breakout star written all over him. Scott has indisputable confidence, which can easily become arrogant cockiness if playing a heel. He is a multi-dimensional competitor, equally impressive as a stiff striker, as he is when busting out his aerial game. Plus he already has a ready-made mouthpiece in Top Dolla.

Whether he is presented as a rallying underdog who rebels against the top guys, or a conniving villain who uses the Hit Row numbers advantage, he has more than enough tools needed to be pushed as a swaggering World Title contender.

He just needs the opportunity.
