Being two of the leading babyfaces on SmackDown, Eddie Guerrero and The Undertaker would often close a house show by teaming up against the likes of JBL's cabinet or The Dudley Boyz and the like.

However, throughout the summer of 2005 after Eddie turned heel, he and 'Taker did battle in a series of house shows with The Deadman coming out on top in each of their four meetings.

Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas has previously told on his podcast how Latino Heat produced some of the best heel work he'd ever see during these bouts.

Eddie is supposed to have spent the entirety of one of their outings working on The Phenom's eye, even resorting to using a steel chair's leg to try and remove it!

You can only imagine how great that would have been to see live.

Nevertheless, and rather miraculously, the pair would never meet in a singles match on a televised WWE show.

Vince and his booking staff messed up on that one.
