11 Major WWE Superstars That Hated Stephanie McMahon

5. Paul Heyman

The biggest creative conflict in the WWE 2000's was Stephanie and Smackdown's head writer Paul Heyman. This one was mostly down to personality clash; both are outspoken and fierce in their behaviour. There was also rumoured to be professional jealousy - Stephanie didn't like the fact that Heyman's Smackdown show was beating Raw. In the end, Stephanie ended up firing Heyman. The reason? He was too difficult to work with and wouldn't listen. Heyman was obviously unhappy about this. Even on the recent WWE Heyman DVD documentary, you can tell that he and Stephanie aren't exactly close friends. He hated the WWE bureaucracy and limitations they put on him, which basically translates as hating Steph. She was the thorn in his side and they had some blazing arguments.
