That was the case on the September 10th 2012 Raw in Montreal, Canada. Jerry 'The King' Lawler had worked a match alongside Randy Orton against the team of Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. Returning to his announce desk, the mics went quiet shortly afterwards. As Kane and Daniel Bryan competed against The Prime Time Players, something was clearly up at the commentary table. Lawler had unexpectedly suffered a heart attack. Returning from a break, a devastated Michael Cole relayed the bad news. The rest of Raw was then conducted without a commentary team. Like all tragedies, it was so unexpected and left an eerie feeling watching the rest of that episode. Thankfully, The King made a full recovery.
