3. Fandango Rushed His Return From Injury
Back to those carny roots that Fandango just can’t seem to shake, this time with regards to a tale about scoring some free beer from the tail end of 2016.
After being sidelined with an injury in the fall of last year, Fandango told the guys managing his rehab that he simply had to be back in time for November. Why? Because November marked the start of the European tour, the very same European tour that all of the guys would be having fun on, but not only that—there’d also be free beer at stake.
In his own words, Fandango remembers telling the rehab team, “I need to make this Europe tour because all the guys are going on it and they’ve got beers on the bus.” Sounds like perfectly reasonable grounds for rushing back from an injury.
Still, despite coming back a few weeks ahead of schedule, Fandango got through the tour without a recurrence of the injury. Though he may not be able to say the same about the state of his liver afterwards…
