11 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Hulk Hogan

2. That He Had A Rematch With The (Not Ultimate) Warrior In WCW 1998

As mentioned earlier, Hulk Hogan's most famous match is the one against Andre the Giant from WrestleMania. If you had to pick the next two most famous matches they would likely be WrestleMania 18 against The Rock and WrestleMania 6 against Ultimate Warrior. Both of those matches were losses, but they were great for a lot of reasons. Then there was Hogan's second rivalry with The Ultimate Warrior, which didn't happen in the WWE, though. It happened in WCW. It's hard to actually remember all of the stupid things that happened in this feud, but there were so many of them from the time Warrior showed up in the fall of 1998, including the magic Warrior smoke that knocked everybody down in the ring at Fall Brawl 1998 and basically ended the match. It was one of the stupidest things ever seen in wrestling. And remember when Warrior showed up the mirror when Hulk was looking into it? Warrior wasn't actually in the room, but an image of him was. Hogan reacted to it like he had seen a ghost. Eric Bischoff couldn't see it even though was right there, but the announcers could see it. So could we at home. It was brutal. Their match at Halloween Havoc 1998 was terrible, and was one of the most boring matches you could ever hope not to see. They basically did nothing in 15 minutes until it was time for the finish when Eric Bischoff distracted the referee by giving him a headlock, then Horace Hogan (Hulk's nephew) hit Warrior in the back with a chair. The ref didn't DQ Hogan for Bischoff's actions or hear that chair shot and Hogan won. Terrible storyline, feud and matches. Hogan vs. Warrior worked one time. It failed miserably when WCW tried it again. And once again, that was typical of WCW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78XbX5tVFeY
