5. A Win's A Win
Ahead of their World Championship match at Hard To Kill, champion Sami Callihan and challenger Tessa Blanchard were given the chance to pick each other's opponents this week as part of a Pick Your Poison series. Tessa competed first, with 'The Draw' choosing to send in his right-hand man Madman Fulton to face his arch-rival.
The height difference in this one was surreal, with Fulton towering over Blanchard as he repeatedly smashed her head into the turnbuckles. Tessa did her absolute best to fight back against the artist formerly known as Sawyer Fulton, even managing to knock her larger adversary off his feet, only for her win to be tainted following the interference of the Crist brothers. It's still a win in the records, but there's no way Tessa will be content with a disqualification victory.
Tessa would be saved after the bout by her handpicked opponent for the World Champion, Ken Shamrock, with 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' clearing house. All around, a very enjoyable match/aftermath. Perhaps we can get a tag match before Hard To Kill with Blanchard and Shamrock vs. Callihan and Fulton.
