11 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 24)
2. Dissension In The North
Their record-shattering reign as the World Tag Team Champions ended in July, and now four months on from that loss to The Motor City Machine Guns, The North's time together in Impact may be coming to an end sooner than we'd like it to happen.
It was revealed by Ethan Page that Doc Gallows would be out of action for four to six weeks due to an apparent attack courtesy of a favour called in from 'All Ego'. Josh Alexander, however, was less than pleased with Page going behind his back, leading 'The Karate Man' to come up with a new plan to become three-time World Tag Team Champions.
Even though Page may be leaving Impact soon if he doesn't re-sign his contract, there's no reason to be teasing a breakup of The North. They're undoubtedly one of the greatest pairings to ever step into Impact's doubles divisions. Should Page choose to call time on his Impact career, The North still shouldn't breakup necessarily. Granted, there would need to be another way to explain why they're no longer around (seeing as Josh's contract is still in effect), but Impact management will surely have another plan up their sleeves for this.
Breaking up The North is not the answer.
