Seeing as Josh Mathews' regular commentary partner, Madison Rayne, was part of the Wrestler's Court jury, 'The Locker Room Reader' was replaced behind the booth this week by Matt Striker. The former WWE announcer had previously appeared on Impact's commentary team on the Bound For Glory pre-show alongside Don Callis, a pairing that should have commentated the entire pay-per-view, really.

Striker wasn't quite as enjoyable here as he was on the 24 October pay-per-view, but he and Mathews still made for a fine change from the norm. If we can see more of him behind the commentary desk in Impact going forward, either with Josh or Don by his side, it would be nothing but a good thing. He's not often regarded as one of the greatest announcers of his era, but Striker is still a dab hand at announcing.
