11 Blockbuster Ways To Write John Cena Off WWE Raw

5. The Authority Fires Him

One of WWE's favourite narratives is to put a babyface against an authority figure. They go back to those angles time and time again. Perhaps that's how Cena will end up leaving next week. Triple H is certainly one option for a WrestleMania feud with Cena, given that they've not met at Mania since 2006 and a 2008 triple threat that also involved Randy Orton. Things would be set up with Cena out at Hell In A Cell, making his usual US Open Challenge call. Triple H would then come out and say that he's had enough of Cena making matches, and assert that only The Authority can make matches. In a heat rousing call, he'd tell Cena to go to back and there'll be no defence that evening. The pair will then go back and forth on the mic, ending with Cena hitting an AA on the boss. The next night on Raw, Hunter would come out and say he fired Cena for his actions. That would then set the return up for December, with Vince McMahon bringing Cena back and putting him into a Mania match against Hunter.
