WWE's progression towards Hell In A Cell continued this week with another lifeless Raw. The ratings reflected that, breaking the seventeen year record low. As you might expect, the WWE business performance will be covered in this week's Q and A. There'll also be analysis on John Cena's exit, in addition to the latest WrestleMania 32 news. Let's get straight to it, with a question from @PandevCsGo
11. Why Are WWE Always Making Seth Rollins Look So Weak?
Seth Rollins as WWE Champion is losing nearly every week. When the belt is on the line, he's winning unclean. It has created a perception that he's a weak champion, which in turn has caused a lot of frustration in the WWE fanbase. But the truth is, WWE's booking of Rollins is a tried and tested method. Ric Flair made a ton of money by being booked as the cowardly heel, only just escaping with his title via the skin of his teeth or a booking twist. Rollins is being booked in the same fashion, they want him to be the long reigning despicable cowardly heel. However, the booking is clearly a little off. This has even been debated in WWE headquarters. Earlier in the year, Vince McMahon wanted to book Seth as a stronger champion. It was Triple H (who was a big Flair mark) who insisted that the cowardly heel route was the right one to go down. One of the annoying things to hear about, is John Cena pinning Rollins every night at house shows. The US Champion shouldn't be stronger than the WWE Champion, especially when Cena is leaving and Rollins is staying. But WWE are set in their ways, and this is the creative they are running with.
