7. John Cena
In terms of polarising figures, they don't get much bigger than the one-time Doctor of Thuganomics, John Cena.
Now we've all heard near-enough the same promo show after show, PPV after PPV, year after year for a decade now, but there's one thing that makes John Cena a perfect fit to become a WWE commentator or analyst: he's the ultimate company man.
It's been well documented by former broadcasters that during their performances they'd have Vince McMahon bellowing through their headsets and instructing them on what to say. With Cena, he is Vinny Mac's wet dream in that regard. He's a walking promotional machine, spewing all of the right lines at all of the right times, kissing babies, hugging grandmas, and championing all the right causes.
In fairness, when Cena's not throwing out poopie jokes and doing stupid voices, he can be one of the best mic guys in the WWE. That's sadly a rarity these days, as the natural charm and charisma that got to him the dance in the first place has been replaced by towing the company line week in, week out.
Love him or hate him, the potential of John Cena behind the announce desk is one that will have Vince McMahon and Co. tight in the pants.
