This year’s World Tag League saw Chuckie T undergo a major change in attitude. On the tenth night of the tournament, he was the victim of a devastating headbutt from Toa Henare. Immediately, Chuckie’s demeanor changed and he viciously lashed out at the fearsome New Zealander.

That shift in attitude lasted through the remainder of the tournament as he began to attack Young Lions at ringside, consistently attacked opponents with weapons, and even gave a referee a piledriver. This before returning to his usual upbeat demeanor during post-match interviews and insisting that he and partner Beretta were destined for the tournament's final -- an impossibility due to the multiple disqualification losses. Then, on the final night of the tournament, Chuckie unconventionally exchanged strikes with Minoru Suzuki during eight-man action. Upon the bout’s conclusion, Chuckie again grabbed a chair and laid out Suzuki-gun as well as his own teammates.

Come January 4th, the Best Friends will team with Hirooki Goto as part of the NEVER Six-Man number one contender's gauntlet. Not only will their opponents be on guard given Chuckie's recent outbursts, but Goto and Beretta should be too.
