12 New Year's Resolutions For WWE Superstars

9. Finn Balor Resolves Not To Come Back Too Soon

One of the worst things a wrestler can do is rush back from a debilitating injury. After WrestleMania 19 Kurt Angle went under the knife for an experimental neck surgery that would get him back in the ring in six weeks rather than the usual year-plus, and while it worked in the short term, it can be argued that that decision took a toll on his career, his health and his personal life.

With that being said, I do not want to see Finn Balor come rushing back to be a surprise entrant in The Royal Rumble. The former Universal champion has already addressed the question by saying that the only way he’d return early is if Vince asked him, and hopefully the chairman has more sense than to do so.

But fans online are already calling the interview a work and saying that Finn is planting the seeds for a shocking return at The Alamo Dome, pining for him to win the entire thing and head to WrestleMania to challenge for the title he was forced to vacate.

For the sake of his health, hopefully Balor resists the temptation to jump back in the fray too soon and gives his body time to properly heal; otherwise these problems may become an ongoing thing for the Irish superstar.
