During the early '90s, surfer Sting came up against the terrifying force known as Vader on WCW programming.
And it was during the early stages of that rivalry when a then-World Heavyweight Champion 'Stinger' put his strap on the line against the newly full-time WCW man in April 1992.
As the champ did all he could to keep the 'Mastodon' from gobbling up his title reign, the challenger came down hard on Sting whilst unleashing his Vader Bomb.
And by hard, your writer means breaking a few ribs and rupturing your spleen hard, folks.
Vader ultimately lost that match via DQ, but could a few broken ribs and a destroyed spleen keep Sting from clashing with his violent rival again just a few months later in July? Not a chance.
