In 2002, Trish Stratus, Jazz and Lita were tasked with assembling a contest decent enough to entertain a Toronto SkyDome capacity crowd that had just collectively misplaced their marbles for an astonishing clash of eras between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The Bar and Seth Rollins have more in their locker than the aforementioned Diva trio with less of a voluminous crowd response than the one that greeted the women at WrestleMania 18, but attempting to re-engage an audience exhausted at from the men's Royal Rumble was folly of the highest order.

Fortunately, their Raw-level main event was saved by the Jason Jordan story that has dragged an angle kicking and screaming out of the cursed Shield reunion presumably initiated to culminate in a WrestleMania clash between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

'The Architect' will at some point have to embrace his inner b*stard again to see the games Jordan is playing with him regardless of the worthy acting jobs here and there. Now free of the gold that kept them bound together, the company can now delve further into what keeps them apart. To their credit, both are portraying their awkward friendship roles with genuine aplomb.
