12 WWE WrestleMania 35 Card Predictions After Survivor Series 2018
10. Ladders!
WrestleMania 34 was a wild, out-of-control variety show that attempted to satisfy everyone at once. This created a vastly uneven night with huge divergences from good (Ronda Rousey's electric debut) to bad (Nicholas), but 14 bouts that felt sufficiently different from each other, despite the lack of stipulations.
The annual 'Mania ladder match was cast aside somewhere in the booking process. WWE could have easily attached the stipulation to Finn Balor, The Miz, and Seth Rollins' Intercontinental three-way, but decided against it, depriving fans of their annual balls-to-the-wall spotfest, and it should absolutely return in 2019.
The specific makeup of the match isn't all that important, as booking the Cruiserweights, either tag division, or a main roster Women's Championship in such an environment would yield near-identical results. Still, it'd be nice to see 205 Live's talented crew thrown into such an environment. Guys like Buddy Murphy, Cedric Alexander, and Mustafa Ali have been working their hides off for ages. They've earned a big showcase like this, and a ladder scramble would be an acceptable make-good for this year's stodgy 'Heart vs. Soul' bout.
