13 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Jun 3)

9. Hardy Party

Dynamite appeared to move Matt Hardy into a mentorship role with Private Party. Having helped an injured Marq Quen to the back last week, the veteran caught up with the up-and-comers in a backstage suite, putting them over as the future of the tag division and throwing in a favourable Hardy Boyz comparison. Matt said he was looking to give back. If Private Party wanted his advice, all they needed to do was ask, so Isiah christened the friendship "Hardy Party" and off the tag legend went, respectfully acknowledging Sammy Guevara on his way out.

Why wouldn't you have Hardy assist with a team as rough and raw as Private Party? The Hardy Boyz comparisons are apt. Quen and Kassidy are explosive and dynamic but lack sheen and polish, with further seasoning needed before they can be considered a true top act. In working with Matt, they'll be in collaboration with one of the most decorated, experienced, and respected tag wrestlers ever. It's a no-brainer.
