13 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW All Out

5. Cracker Barrel Chaos

Jimmy Havoc All Out
AEW

Though Jimmy Havoc made for a curious winner, his three-way dance with Joey Janela and Darby Allin delivered on the promised anarchy.

This thing was batshit. Beginning with Janela and Allin ganging up on Havoc, they soon had him bound helplessly at ringside, having taped his thumbtack-filled mouth shut. A sick spot to start, and things only got crazier from thereon. Havoc stapled Janela's skull. He grabbed a sheet of paper and cut between 'The Bad Boy's' fingers, then his mouth. Joey hit a Brainbuster onto a chair. Then, that crazy bastard missed a full-on, unprotected Moonsault from the top rope to the floor. This prompted Havoc to get the actual Cracker Barrels involved, with a couple of them breaking - most notably when Allin hit a Coffin Drop onto the ring steps outside.

A strong finish saw Havoc take advantage of Janela's injured legs from the foiled Moonsault, superplexing his shins onto the barrel. He followed up by Acid Rainmakering him through the bloody thing, and that was that.

Hardcore wrestling isn't for everyone, but it will clearly have a place in AEW going forward. This bout showed it can flourish.
