If you've read my recaps or listened to Talk Is Jericho episodes featuring former Nexus members you know what a huge fan the host was of that angle, so of course he takes the chance to ask Darren about it. He responds that it was nerve-wracking because a lot of the older talent on the roster were resentful of the newcomers and the role they were being given. Young says that Vince McMahon told them that it was a huge spot for them and they needed to go out and deliver, and he thinks they did. He calls the run a lot of fun, but then expresses his disappointment that they lost the 7 on 7 match at SummerSlam. Both he and Jericho feel that if they'd gone over it would have extended the angle's shelf life by at least a few months.
