14 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown (April 28)
The go-home show to Payback!
We all know that nothing meaningful happens on go-home SmackDowns. Go-home editions of Raw are often filled with high drama, emotive promos, and last-minute card changes. It can be very exciting, but the downside is that the Blue Brand has nothing going for it.
Nothing, that is, except for WTF Moments.
This week's show featured a champion vs. champion main event, pitting Roman Reigns against The Miz - with AJ Styles watching ominously on from ringside.
We also saw Enzo and Cass take on the Social Outcasts prior to their number one contenders' match with The Vaudevillains, as well as a highly-charged edition of 'The Ambrose Asylum' featuring Charlotte, Natalya, and a particularly enthusiastic Ric Flair.
14. Miz Was Kissing Roman's A** Just A Few Days Ago!
On Raw, The Miz absolutely tore AJ Styles apart on the microphone, telling him how inferior he was to "bigger, stronger" Roman Reigns. On SmackDown, he bizarrely turned tail, explaining to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion how Styles was going to outsmart him with the help of Gallows and Anderson.
A lack of continuity? On WWE television!? Quelle surprise.
