15 Awesomely Ridiculous Pro Wrestling Photos

4. "My Name's Sting, Too!"

Yes, they've met. They actually look pretty chummy here, with Sting (the wrestler) trying out one of Sting (the musician's) guitars. It's actually kind of surprising, isn't it? The Police had been on hiatus for close to two years and that Sting had released his solo debut album over six months before Steve Borden started wrestling as Sting. The dude kind of stole his name, but then again, it's not like the wrestler ever tried to trade on the musician's fame in any way other than sharing his name. And to be honest, as nicknames go, "Sting" is fairly generic. So I guess they were cool with each other. No, WCW didn't play this up on TV at all, in case you're wondering.

3. This Doesn't Exactly Look Competitive

Scott Norton Owen Hart Arm Wrestling Scott Norton is a gigantic man who was a high level arm wrestling champion. Judging by the marks, it looks like he just underwent cupping therapy on his dominant arm, so that arm was probably feeling really good. On the other side of the arm wrestling table was Owen Hart, a perennial junior heavyweight. For some reason, in this Japanese magazine article from 1991, which appears to be an interview with Norton, all of the photos are of him pretending to arm wrestle Owen Hart. Which probably would have been the arm wrestling equivalent of a squash match.
