How great was it seeing Edge and Christian back on television (well, the WWE Network)? Even though it was by far the least structured Steve Austin Show yet, it was probably the most fun. Austin was a great host, as he invariably is, and Edge and Christian were the perfect guests for him since they are laid-back and effortlessly entertaining. With the WWE return of the Dudley Boys and now watching the Edge and Christian podcast and seeing clips of their careers, it got me thinking about just how good Edge and Christian were and how many entertaining moments they provided us with. All we have now is memories and one or two guest appearances, since Edge is retired and it looks like Christian might be, too. Edge and Christian were one of the key teams during what was arguably WWE's best-ever era for tag team wrestling. They were a team who could put on a badass, show-stealing match at the drop of a hat, but they were also incredibly entertaining in myriad other ways. The development of their dorky personas in the year 2000 made them the eminently watchable Bill and Ted of wrestling. E and C were only really a fully-fledged tag team for two and a half years before they broke up to pursue solo careers but in that relatively short space of time, they managed to pack in countless moments that totally reeked of awesomeness (and then managed to add a few more after the break-up).
