15 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (Oct 25)

Roman got some air, Owens slammed a HUGE opponent, and Ziggler met a furry selfie stick.

Professional wrestling is in somewhat of a funk. Ratings are down on all of the national shows and in some cases those numbers are at record lows. Despite the best attempts by promotions like WWE to place some of the biggest stars of wrestling's past on our screens, interest just hasn't picked back up. Many fans that were watching even just a few short years ago have moved on from wrestling, if the Nielson numbers have any truth to them. For those of us still tuning in on a regular basis, there's plenty to get excited about. Many of the wrestlers who continue to enter the squared circle week in and week out are working hard to give us the entertainment that we crave. Creativity still exists, like when Cesaro performed a running European Uppercut so ferociously that it knocked him and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion over a barrier into the timekeeper's area. That happened this week. In addition to Cesaro reminding viewers about how sensational he can be bell to bell, many other spots are highlighted on this week's list. All of the usual weekly shows have been scoured for the best moments..

15. Woods Breaks Wood

All three members of New Day squared off against John Cena and the team that will be challenging them for their WWE Tag Team Championships at Hell In A Cell, the Dudley Boyz. New Day might've won the match, but they didn't get the last laugh on this encounter. The babyfaces attacked poor Xavier Woods and Powerbombed him through a table after the match was over. Kofi and Big E both lamented for their compadre on the outside of the ring. Normally, the classic "look strong on Raw, lose on pay-per-view" formula can be applied to predict who might win at the big show on Sunday. But with New Day winning the match and then the Dudleys immediately getting revenge afterword, that puts them all pretty even. That will be a hard match to predict the winner of.
