As is the way with the Great Wrestling War of 2019, this week's AEW news has been peppered very much with the possibilities of current WWE stars signing for the company (if they're ever let out of their contracts, presumably). But the company was also dealt something of a blow with the news that Teal Piper - so recently announced for the All Out Women's Battle Royale - is not signing a deal with Tony Khan's promotion. Instead, she's gone to WOW.
They have just announced Orange Cassidy as a brand new signing, though, which is bound to generate some column inches, given his tendency to be somewhat... divisive, to say the least. Great signing however you look at it.
Elsewhere, the company continues to have its hype confirmed by stupidly quick ticket sales as two more Sell Outs were added to the upcoming schedule and it appears that Taeler Hendrix will be joining him in some capacity too, given her own social media teasing.
