View this post on Instagram ?SUNDAY THOUGHTS ? I have had a lot of chapters in my wrestling life. I stepped into my first ring the day after my 18th birthday. At the time I was a broken kid and wrestling had always been my version of a weighted blanket. It made me feel safe and at first I think that’s what I was looking for — safety. I remember not caring much about anything at the time. I had no ambition, no motivation and I hated myself. Depression is a bitch and it had a strangle hold on me. But then I took my first few steps in a ring. It was this amazing space that, even though it was terrifying and EXTREMELY challenging, it made me feel like maybe I had a reason to keep going. Wrestling means so many things to so many people and I, like you, grew up a fan. It had always been my shelter from this stormy world. I want you all to know how much this new chapter means to me and how excited, overjoyed and ready I am to start it. Thank you for coming along with me and for supporting me on this magical journey. I love you all so so much. ?? ? @speedy.photo A post shared by Allie?☕️?? (@alliewrestling) on Sep 29, 2019 at 8:38am PDT
