You've got to feel for Colette.

It's rather obvious that she fell in love with Mick quickly, and she points to his kind eyes and goofy sense of humour as real selling points that melted her heart when they first met. Colette was also willing to help support her man's dreams, because she knew how hard he'd worked and he wasn't some untouchable WWE star who got special treatment, but that wouldn't stop her from panicking during some of his most barbaric matches. For example, King Of The Ring '98's HIAC battle.

Foley did tell his wife what he and The Undertaker had planned for their Hell In A Cell encounter. So, Colette didn’t watch the pay-per-view knowing sod all. Mick had assured her that he’d be alright, but the match must’ve been hellish to watch anyway. So to speak. On the subject of supporting her hubby's goals, Colette said: “If he can see it, he can do it - and I trust that”.

However, following the chokeslam through the cage later on (the second big bump), Colette was “screaming at the TV set” and “trying to get the company on the phone”. She was angry and stressed out to the max. When she couldn’t get through to anyone at the WWF, a melting down mother had to tell her kids that “daddy”s acting”. She thought Mick had “betrayed” her by adding more spots, because a chokeslam through the roof had never been discussed.

It wasn't supposed to happen in the first place, that's why. Mick hadn't mentioned it because he and Undertaker only wanted to tease Foley crashing through. Unfortunately, cable ties holding the ceiling panels in place gave way and he tumbled into the ring below with an agonising, potentially fatal thud.
