15 Things You Might Have Missed From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown

11. Cesaro’s Slippy Sharpshooter

Before getting stuck into this point, it's important to establish that Cesaro is one of the best in-ring workers in WWE. This week's SmackDown, sadly, was a bit of an off-night then for the "Swiss Superman".

Firstly, Cesaro fell flat on his face when attempting to lock his trusty Sharpshooter on Big E. Corey Graves immediately tried to cover for him by saying E's legs were incredibly thick. That was fine, at least until Cesaro slipped backwards and landed on top of the New Day member.

That's when the announcers decided they were pursuing a lost cause and pretended the second slip never happened. Credit to Big E for continuing to sell the pain of the submission hold despite Cesaro's slippy boots. It actually looked quite painful.
