Roman Reigns could get a good match out of Paul Heyman at this point.

His imperious persona is the perfect heel foil for underdog babyfaces, and that's why a match with Finn Bálor was top class on this week's SmackDown. Afterwards, as Reigns and a smug Heyman strolled up the ramp, something weird happened that caught everybody off guard.

The lights dimmed to a red hue, and a thumping sound could be heard in the background. Immediately, fans in Jacksonville started looking around expecting somebody to come out and attack the Universal Champ, but the lighting returned to normal and Roman's theme blared over the speakers.

Almost hilariously, this teased another major return, and a totally unexpected one.

That was one of this week's hidden gems. Others included old-school graphics, fans getting clever with their signage, The Street Profits getting bloody, Montez Ford getting reckless, Becky Lynch foreboding her surely-inevitable heel turn and more.

Also, what was up with Cesaro going Triple H, news on Bálor's MMA background and more NXT ignorance? WWE are making a nasty habit out of that...
