Though this is their first time in IMPACT as a team, Tanga Loa is no stranger to the promotion, having wrestledt here before his New Japan days under the moniker of Micah. He's perhaps best remembered for his role in the Rising trio, where he teamed with Drew Galloway (McIntyre) and Eli Drake, who is now LA Knight in NXT 2.0.
In New Japan, Tonga and Loa are former seven-time IWGP Tag Team Champions, as well as winners of the 2020 World Tag League and one-time holders of the World Tag Team Championships in Ring Of Honor, one of New Japan's partner promotions.
2021 saw Bullet Club dominance for a while in IMPACT, as Hikuleo, El Phantasmo, and the aforementioned Jay White all debuted to aid the Club's newest member, Chris Bey.
