2 MORE Names Moving From WWE NXT To Raw Or SmackDown?

2020 is Call-Up City, it seems.

Io Shirai Velveteen Dream
WWE

Io Shirai and Velveteen Dream are the latest names to be linked with a move from WWE NXT to either Raw or SmackDown.

This comes from a new Wrestling Inc. reported stated that both wrestlers have been brought up in discussions, though nothing is set in stone at the moment and the promotion is yet to make a formal decision on these performers and where their futures lie.

Yesterday brought a story suggesting that WWE was considering bringing Chelsea Green to what would traditionally be classified as the "main roster." Matt Riddle's move to SmackDown was confirmed last week, while Dominik Dijakovic will switch to Raw imminently, as WWE's busiest string of "call-ups" in a long time rumbles on.

This weekend should give a clearer indication of Shirai and Dream's plans, as both are in action at TakeOver: In Your House. Dream's bout with Adam Cole stipulates that he can never challenge for the NXT Championship again if he is defeated. Shirai, meanwhile, wrestles Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair for the NXT Women's Title, having failed to capture the black-and-gold brand's top prize since arriving on American shores a few years ago.
