2 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jan 25)

Ups...

2. Rascalz Dominate

The trio known as The Rascalz were all in action this week, as Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz were victorious over The Desi Hit Squad while Trey Miguel pinned Ethan Page. Two fairly average matches that don't really mean too much for the time being, but they could do great things for the three going forward.

Xavier and Wentz's tag bout saw all sorts of flips left, right, and centre, including a death-defying dive over the ropes from Wentz. When speaking about their movesets, you can't forget about their Hot Fire Flame. Outstanding athleticism. Meanwhile, Wentz's singles affair with All Ego saw an underdog story with Trey fighting back against Ethan's power offence.

Impact have a trio of champions under their wing. Any of these three could easily hold the X Division Championship, which could cause tension between the group. To keep them together however, why not give them the World Tag Team Championships and have them defend the gold under the Freebird Rule? It's what Impact's tag division is all about right now after all, in the sense that the majority of tag matches are intense and high-paced.

You wouldn't argue against more of those matches coming along.
