2 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 19)

Downs...

4. Low Expectations

It was revealed that the winners of this tag team tournament would go on to face each other in two weeks time to determine the number one contender to Michael Elgin's World Championship.

Some huge stakes, but Ace Austin seemingly didn't have a care in the world about what was up for grabs.

After he was abandoned by original partner Aiden Prince following some derisory comments, Ace would ask Madison Rayne if she wanted to team with him for the evening to no avail. Next thing we knew, he was strutting down to the ring with a lad by the name of Stone Rockwell. He didn't exactly have high expectations when looking for a new partner for the tournament.

An extremely minor Down? Perhaps. A Down nonetheless? Of course.
