Kevin Owens finally snapped on last night's episode of WWE Raw, turning heel on WWE Champion Big E by unleashing a beatdown at the end of the show.

This came following last week's episode of Raw on which E, sceptical of Owens after the former Universal Champion had turned on him and The New Day a few years ago, kept KO at arm's length, hitting him with a Big Ending by the end of the evening. Owens tried to approach E early last night and stressed his sincerity, though E walked away from him.

Owens was later involved in a confrontation with Seth Rollins leading to their singles main event. 24 minutes elapsed before that match ended via countout when KO was stuck on the outside after walking into E, who was ringside, meaning Owens lost the bout. Cue: the turn, with Kevin putting the WWE Champion into the ring steps and hitting an apron powerbomb.

This was the night's second apparent heel turn after Doudrop attacked Bianca Belair during a five-way contendership match for Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship.

Upset at not being involved in said bout, the interference appeared to trigger something new for the Scot, whose monicker and gimmick have been much maligned since she arrived on WWE's main roster this June.
