The Dudleyz, Hardys, and Edge & Christian will always be tied together. Certain members of these teams found singles success later in their careers, but their tag matches at the turn of the century were what really put them on the map. Tag wrestling has rarely been hotter in WWE than it was from 2000 to 2001, and that was almost entirely down to these six men.

The Dudleyz and Hardys had already raised the bar with their death-defying Tables Match at the 2000 Royal Rumble, but WrestleMania 2000’s Triangle Ladder bout took things to the next level. A groundbreaking match, it was the first time six men had ever competed with the ladder stipulation, and laid the groundwork for the era-defining TLC matches to follow.

Though the wrestlers worked at a slightly slower pace than expected, they still crammed-in a ridiculous number of potentially career-ending bumps. As always, Jeff Hardy stole the show by soaring from an extra-high ladder to send Bubba Ray crashing through a table towards the end, but Edge & Christian were triumphant. Their first of seven title reigns, this was where E&C started their dominance in such matches, and began their ascent to mega-stardom.
