His guidance had shaped the entire tale magnificently, with a SummerSlam main event casting WWE Champion The Rock as the third man in a triple threat main event anchored by the bile between Triple H and 'The Olympic Hero' over Stephanie's affections. The kiss was the overdue acknowledgment of the sinister Kurt's true motivations, with literally less than a second of television time left to digest the drama before the Sunday showdown.
