20 Most Embarrassing Wrestling Botches Of 2019

Celebrating the year's most pop-worthy screw-ups, trainwrecks, and accidental memes.

A p*ss-taking article like this must begin with an acknowledgement of respect, as high-level pro-wrestlers train tirelessly to execute superhuman feats with surgical precision. They've got one of the most difficult jobs in the world, and that serious, career-shortening mistakes are so few and far between is testament to their skill, technique, and attention to detail.

But does this mean certain botches aren't funny as hell? Does it b*llocks.

Just as there's nothing more enthralling than watching two great professional crafting a masterclass inside the squared circle, few things are as entertaining as when it all goes south, the wheels come off, and someone falls flat on their backside. There's a reason these things go viral faster than a bad Seth Rollins tweet or CM Punk just existing. They bring the same appeal as a Sharknado film, a Fred Durst lyric, or the 30-50 feral hogs that run into your yard within 3-5 mins while your small kids play.

As tribal as wrestling fandom has become in 2019, sometimes, we all just need to sit back, relax, and laugh at some of the year's sloppiest moments. Let's hope for more in 2020...
