For three whole decades, AEW's resident 'Demo-God' has been entertaining the masses and putting on wrestling clinics with his peers. So, to honour 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho, this week's AEW Dynamite was entirely dedicated to the biggest star in the company, and oh boy, it did not disappoint.
Brilliant video tributes were beamed in from the likes of Kevin Smith, NJPW's Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shaquille O'Neal and Slash, the main man himself picked up a victory over an old rival, and Jericho was even at the centre of a go-home angle which threatened to derail the entire celebration. But, MJF and the wrestler of the hour eventually revealed the whole clown/self-portrait drama to be nothing more than one big swerve...for now.
Away from this 30th anniversary love-in, though, there was a TNT Championship up for grabs in a gruelling dog collar match. Cody finally overcame a blood-soaked Mr. Brodie Lee, setting up another blockbuster encounter on next week's Dynamite Anniversary show - a TNT title defence against Orange Cassidy.
Add that to an explosive AEW World Championship showdown, intriguing AEW Women's title match and always fun AEW Tag Team Championship battle, and you can bet your ass you're in for something special come Wednesday night, folks.
If that wasn't enough, Jericho is releasing a 'Complete List of Jericho Book' which details every one of his 2722 matches (!), complete with never before seen images, graphs and, of course...lists!
