20 Most Revealing AEW Instagram Posts Of The Week (September 6)

Coming off the back of a few stellar Dynamites over the last couple of weeks, a lot was expected of All Elite Wrestling coming into this weekend's All Out PPV.

Would this be the night where 'Hangman' Page and Kenny Omega finally imploded? Could Jon Moxley find a way to overcome the banning of the Paradigm Shift in his AEW World Championship match with MJF? Were we about to see a dramatic climax to the stellar Orange Cassidy/Chris Jericho rivalry?

Once Saturday's event had reached its eventual conclusion, the answer to all of the above was yes...sort of.

Omega resisted beating his partner to a pulp after the pair lost their tag belts to FTR, but their partnership looks to have reached its inevitable end. Moxley out-cheated his opponent when the ref's back was turned, nailing him with his banned finisher for the win. And 'Le Champion' was made to have an unfortunate bath in a bit of the bubbly (and OJ).

Though nothing on this card - minus the traumatic Matt Hardy/Sammy Guevara incident (get well soon, BROKEN one!) - was seriously awful by any stretch of the imagination, perhaps this was the first PPV where AEW felt like victims of their own consistently high PPV standards.

Away from the ring, however, the ensemble of eclectic characters who occupy this Elite world were in usual fine form, reminding us of nostalgic days gone by, getting us excited for the future and showing us that dogs really are the purest gift on planet earth.
