20 Wrestling Superstars That Totally Rocked

4. R-Truth

Whether you know him as K-Kwik, K-Krush, R-Ziggler, or just Ron "The Truth" Killings, R-Truth has been around the wrestling scene for quite some time. Even before becoming a wrestler, music is where his passion would lie after being released from prison, and once he finally enlisted in the mat wars, he brought that passion with him. It wasn't long after stepping into the ring in 1997 that he found his way to the main WWF roster in 2000, partnering up with the also musically-inclined "Road Dogg" Jesse James as K-Kwik and performing "Gettin' Rowdy" upon approaching the ring. After James was injured, Kwik stuck around until 2002 as a midcarder most frequently appearing on Jakked before being released and taking his show on the road to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as K-Krush. There, he evolved into Ron "The Truth" Killings and partnered with Konnan and former Road Dogg B.G. James to form 3Live Kru, and in 2008, returned to WWE as R-Truth to let everyone know "What's Up?" to this day. One look at him now and you might not realize it, but in addition to being a consistent musical act, R-Truth is actually a highly decorated former champion. In addition to a Slammy for "Best Musical Performance" in 2008, Truth is a former United States Champion (one time), Hardcore Champion (two times), Tag Team Champion (once, with Kofi Kingston), and holder of the 2009 Bragging Rights Trophy. He's also held the National Wrestling Alliance Tag Team Championship twice (once with each fellow member of 3Live Kru), and the TNA Tag Team Championship (once, with Adam Jones). Perhaps most impressive of all, he was the first-ever NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a title he would go on to hold a second time as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0_HkW_nCOw (Those about to argue Ron Simmons as the first: The belt was the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by that point.)
