Shayna Baszler was the first name and Charlie Demspey was surprisingly revealed as the other WWE wrestler booked to enter Bloodsport as WrestleMania weekend kicked off proper. But they had countless friends and colleagues in support.

Tucked away at the back of the room were CM Punk, Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, Karrion Kross, Natalya and others, and a photograph later emerged finding GCW chief Brett Lauderdale standing with WWE head honcho Nick Khan. It was left vague what might exactly be occurring between the two sides, and while history's never kind to the little guy in these tales it was nonetheless a fascinating juxtaposition of wrestling's biggest extremes during the biggest weekend of the year.
