11. Tom's A Mark!
Tom Phillips is a mark. He bought it! He bought it I tells you!
The Revival pulled out of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic because of Scott Dawson's 'injury'. Dawson claimed that he had pulled this, snapped that, and broke the other clean in half. It was the most ridiculous sounding knee injury in the history of our sport and the manner in which the now former NXT Tag Team Champion was telling us about his ailments suggested he was making it up on the spot.
Tom bought it all though when he claimed the longer the classic two out of three falls match between Revival and #DIY in Toronto would go on for, the more it would favour the challengers because of Dawson's knock.
!*$% TOM! ABSOLUTE !*$%! If anything, the legitimate (kayfabe) knee injury suffered by Johnny Gargano at the hands of Dawson and Wilder should have made the former champs heavy favourites for the match if it went the distance.
We've seen countless examples of Tomspiracies in recent times but I suppose this is the first example of TomMarkery we've seen... no? Oh go f**k yourself!
