24 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown (Oct 22)

"Three unicorns, standing together, spreading magic throughout the entire WWE."

For a go-home edition of SmackDown, this week's show certainly saw a lot of action. Seth Rollins took on Cesaro in a great opening match, New Day were as entertaining as ever (despite the absence of Xavier Woods), and the hilarious Tyler Breeze made his long-awaited main roster debut. Most importantly of all, we saw some damn impressive wrestling. Not a single match on the card disappointed - with the possible exception of a squash between Ryback and Bo Dallas, although that too served a purpose. Don't worry; as impressive as SmackDown's in-ring action was, we were still treated to a bevy of WTF moments.

24. World Title Hell In A Cell Match On Sunday? Casually Chatting Backstage

The current Kane/Seth Rollins feud is a bizarre one in many ways, but a new one was brought to light this Friday. Despite being Tombstoned by Kane at the end of most recent shows, and knowing full well that Corporate Kane and Demon Kane are the same person, Rollins is able to have a fairly casual, eye-rolling chat with him backstage. Isn't this the man Seth is deathly afraid of when he makes the simple change of putting on a mask? Isn't it the man he's been desperate to avoid facing at Hell in a Cell? Yet here they are backstage, treating one another with very mild contempt. It seems more like a conversation between a pair of disagreeable office workers, rather than two men who are set to tear one another apart in a few days. Kane books Rollins against a mystery opponent - the first of the night. He warns Seth that he'll be watching from the back, saying "Don't run away. You never know who might show up to stop you." Actually Kane, we do know. You've been pulling the same trick for a month now.
