It won't be long until the very bestest ever wrestling match of all time in the world ever is in the books and Randy Orton and Edge are immortalised in giant gold idols on the moon or something. Over-hyped? Well, don't at me with your pitch-forks, it was all Vince's doing. And I guess we'll see how the cookie crumbles when Backlash kicks off.
Let's all have faith though, eh? Because there's nothing like WWE coming up with a pleasant surprise.
Unlike the news of Paul Heyman's ousting and the real reason apparently behind it, which is enough to send your eyeballs rolling out the back of your head. And for it to come when urine and a faintly concerning rebrand of a NXT star with controversial undertones are the star of the week's stories says... something.
Meanwhile, we also learned why Chris DeJoseph was kicked out of WWE (again), we learned of the cancelled Queen Of The Ring tournament (which Baron Corbin might well have won, all things considered) and we also learned that Randy Orton knows the silliness behind that Backlash match branding. But he doesn't have his own plane.
And through it all, the superstars took to social media to share their real lives, important messages on the need for equality and reform, and their workouts ahead of another big PPV.
