View this post on Instagram Here's a shot of me with @realjackswagger when #WeThePeople reunited on a event in Virginia last weekend. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed my time in @WWE with this man and @wwecesaro. Both Jack and @wwecesaro are highly intelligent men which made for great conversation between events. The We The People gimmick turned out to be not a gimmick at all. It was a REAL LIFE POLITICAL movement that was actually going on at the same time we were doing the gimmick. People either loved it or hated it. I even had people who worked behind the scenes in production jobs actually stop me in the back or in catering to seriously blask me if I really believed what I was saying in my promos because they said “I looked like I believed in the message”! So if they believed me, fans believed me. People responded to the REAL AMERICANS everywhere even in Europe and even South Africa. But I can't stop believing that #WWE left so much on the table with this gimmick especially with the 2016 elections being what they turned out to be. Fans either loved the Real American or they hated it but regardless, we got a reaction. A STRONG ONE. And I thank @realjackswagger and @wwecesaro for bringing it every night. You guys were the real heroes. I just talked it. You guys walked it. Thank you guys. ”Dirty” Dutch Mantell or aka Zebakiah Ulysses Colter. Though both are out of the WWE picture now, Zeb Colter (Dutch Mantell) and Jack Swagger reunited for an event recently and shared their affection for one another.
