So that was the Super Show-Down week when American WWE fans finally got to feel what it's like for British fans to experience PPVs at criminally unsociable hours. Their reward was some interesting bouts and a museum piece featuring The Undertaker, Kane, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Almost like it's not actually 2018.

Rob Van Dam obviously wasn't all that bothered by the big event, taking a pot shot at Trips on Hulk Hogan's Twitter. And if there's one thing wrestling Instagram and Twitter have taught, it's that there's no beef like a passive aggressive social media beef.

In actual WWE news, The Rock has been linked with a return at SmackDown 1000, John Cena came back with an interesting new haircut and hinted at his retirement and it turns out that WWE may have misrepresented the figures from their big Australian PPV. On top of that, Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia has also been downgraded to a smaller venue, which can't be that good a sign.
